CONTROL · AIVQC Server

No model version reaches the line without approval.

Server is the control point between engineering work in Trainer and real inspection on the line — it publishes only approved versions, and only to the stations you select.

Without a central publishing point, every production station could over time end up running a different model version — with no record of who put it there or when. Server prevents that: it runs as a local deployment (Docker or NAS) inside the plant network and distributes packages only to the stations you point it to.

Access to publishing new versions is controlled — not everyone with network access can change the model running on production. Every publication is recorded in a history, so a question like "which version was running on line 3 last week" has an immediate answer.

Server does not require a connection to a vendor cloud. All communication happens inside the plant network, between the Trainer workstation, Server and the Production stations.

01

Local deployment

Runs on Docker or NAS inside the plant network, with no required connection to the cloud.

02

Access control

Publishing a new model version is restricted to authorised people, not every network user.

03

Release history

A full record of which version went to which station and when — the basis of inspection traceability.

04

Target station selection

Every package reaches only the selected Production stations, not every device on the network at once.

PLACE IN THE PLATFORM

Server is the gate between Trainer and Production.

Server receives approved packages from Trainer and delivers them to AIVQC Production on selected stations. A Production station keeps a local copy of the last verified package, so inspection can continue even during an interruption in the connection to Server.

FAQ

AIVQC Server

Does Server need a dedicated server?+

No — a typical deployment is a Docker container on an existing plant server or a NAS device. Hardware requirements are determined during station qualification.

What happens if a production station loses its connection to Server?+

Production uses the last locally stored, verified version and continues inspecting. The connection to Server is needed to publish new versions, not for ongoing operation.
